A new set of safety and sanitary protocols developed by working with International SOS.
At friendly Ride, the health and safety of our passengers remain our top priority. In the next weeks, we expect to see COVID-19 quarantine restrictions relaxing and businesses resuming operations. We at Friendly Ride understand our clients may be anxious about returning to a level of normalcy and want to share with you what we are doing to ensure peace of mind for those who travel with us now or in the near future.
Friendly Ride Inc. has been working with International SOS on a new set of safety and sanitary protocols that have been Effective from 15th May 2020.
Safe & Clean Vehicles
Friendly Ride drivers have been cleaning vehicles with a disinfectant that Company has been supplying. To protect both our passengers and chauffeurs. Chauffeurs will be required to wear an N95 mask (or the equivalent KN95 mask because they filter at least 95 percent of airborne particles) Hand sanitizer and disposable masks will be available to the passengers, subject to availability. It is suggested that passengers bring their own masks Recommended N95 Masks
With recommendations from International SOS
Going forward, additional cleaning services will be provided Friendly Ride Inc. at no cost to the passenger or the driver. We reserve the right to modify this policy subject to the availability of supplies. All working vehicles will be required to come to Base where the interior will be cleaned with disinfectant under Friendly Ride supervision. If the vehicle is not cleaned as per the below schedule, it may not be allowed to pick up passengers. Friendly ride will make sure to follow safety and sanitary protocols developed by working with International SOS as much as possible.
- From 15th May Interior cleaning with disinfectant daily
- From June 01st to June 30th: Interior cleaned with disinfectant every 2nd day.
- From July 01st to July 31: Interior cleaned with disinfectant every 7 days.
- From Aug 01 onwards: Interior cleaned with disinfectant every 14 days.
Before Passenger Entering the Vehicle:
Passenger areas (seats, seatbelts, door handles, assist straps, armrests) will be wiped down with 70% alcohol wipes by the driver on spot time (15 minutes prior to pick up time). The passenger is welcome to observe this if they are on scene early, conditions permitting. Alcohol wipes will be provided by Friendly ride Inc. to the drivers. Water will be available upon request.
Luggage Handling:
It is preferable that the driver does not handle the luggage. The driver should open the trunk, observe the customer putting the luggage in the trunk, and then close the trunk. If the driver’s help is needed, the driver must comply and wear disposable gloves.
Entering and Exiting the Vehicle:
Passenger should not touch the door handles; the driver should always open and close the doors at the pickup, destination, and any stops.
Inside the Car:
Given that the proximity of the Driver and Passenger(s) in most vehicles is less than the recommended minimum social distance, all parties should use masks. The company will supply masks to its drivers. Once inside, Driver will provide hand sanitizer and disposable masks to the passenger if needed. It is suggested that passengers bring their own masks.
Social Distancing:
Keeping Social Distancing guidelines in mind we suggest no. of passengers should be limited as below:
Sedan = 2 passengers and SUV = 4 Passenger
National Limousine Association president Robert Alexander said providers across the industry are working on their own safety and sanitation protocols.
